Spanish Nominated Candidates – Astrid Lindgren Memorial Award
On Thursday October 15, the Astrid Lindgren Memorial Award (ALMA) presented the list of the 215 nominated candidates from 59 countries for 2016, among which there are the following Spanish nominees:
Agustín Fernández Paz, Author
Elena Odriozola, Illustrator
Miguelanxo Prado, Illustrator
Jordi Sierra i Fabra, Author
The final winner/s will be announced soon after the jury’s last meeting on April 5, 2016.
The prize wants to acknowledge the work of professionals or institutions that create or promote literature for children.
